Publication of a school magazine is in these days of high costs almost a major business undertaking. Very few schools have sufficient funds to allow publication, and without public support there could be no magazine. That is particularly true of a school like ours, which is still being established and has to spend a great deal on books and equipment. We would ask all members and friends of Monaro High to show practical appreciation of the support given by the firms who have donated the cost of pages by supporting those firms. In addition to those whose names appear at the foot of each page, we are grateful for donations from Norris' Garage, the Kosciusko Bakery, and Heming's Electrical Store.
The school would like also to express appreciation of the way in which the management and staff of "The Express" have given of their best to produce such a well-printed magazine.
