Kunama 1958

White Windows

The moon comes every night to peep
through the window to where I lie
and I pretend to be asleep,
but I watch the moon as it goes by.
It never makes a sound.

It stays and stares and then it goes
to the house that's next me.
Stealing thief-like on its toes
to peep at others asleep way be.
And never makes a sound.
