An existing feature of our School of which little is heard or seen is the School Press Book. Very few people probably know that there is such a book. I had never beard of it until I reached Fourth Year.
This book is a detailed account of the School's progress as it has been reported by the local and city papers. Members of Fourth Year take turns in keeping the Book which merely entails collecting cuttings of School interest and then placing them in the book.
On such occasions as Open Day the Press Book is placed on display for parents and visitors to see. School Inspectors and. important people are also shown this printed Record of the School's activities.
The instigator of the idea was Mr. Rigg. When he came here in 1960 this was one of the many new ideas he brought with him and I feel sure that the Press Book will develop into a School tradition.
