Kunama 1977

Man's Destiny

Man has lived for thousands of years,
And over the time repeatedly shed invisible tears
for his many mistakes and his many fears.

An era of new horizons and greater opportunities,
Where old horizons are marred by pollution and obscenities.
Where man is striving for a greater goal,
the destruction of his race complete and whole?
A world full of peace where love never ends,
and to file for divorce is the common trend.
for out into space man's satellites fly,
while on the ground, vegetation wilts and dies.

Good food and television for those who can pay
hunger and emptiness for many others each day.
Luxury living in high-rise flats above the clouds,
away from the smog below that hangs in thick shrouds.
Travel in swift cars, buses, trains and trams,
that course hour-long traffic chaos and jams.
Man dominates now with glory in the air, land and sea,
but does he care for his future and destiny?
